Grayson Zubradt of the men's lacrosse team and Kara Phoubandith of women's lacrosse are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for March 13.
Zubradt finished the week with 13 goals and two assists for 15 points in a 2-0 week for the Blazers. The sophomore opened the week with 10 goals, the most at any NCAA level this season and a single-game school record, to lead the Blazers to a 29-8 win over Neumann. He added an assist for 11 points in the contest, which is also a school record. Zubradt followed that with a three-goal, one-assist effort in a 13-4 win over St. Vincent.
Phoubandith led the women's team to a 1-1 week. She had two goals and two assists in a 17-5 win at Goucher on March 8, then followed it up with a five-goal effort in a 9-8 loss to Immaculata on March 11. Four of Phoubandith's scores came on free position shots, tying Hood College's single-game record.
