FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College baseball team is partnering with Grady's Decision to run a 'Wins for Grady' campaign during the 2016 season.
Grady's Decision is a charitable organization helping families cope with premature births and children with special medical needs. Grady's Decision provides an avenue for people to donate and assist these family members during this difficult and emotional time. Grady's Decision can assist with parking costs, food, housing near hospitals and transportation needs.
As part of its 'Wins for Grady' campaign, the team is asking for indviduals or organizations to pledge to donate an amount of their choice per win over the course of the Blazers' 40-game regular season. The team will also be taking donations during home games, and selling 'Wins for Grady' t-shirts. All proceeds from the pledges, donations, and t-shirt sales will be given to Grady's Decision, who in turn, will donate money to Frederick County, Maryland families in need.
