WILLIAMSBURG, Va.--The Hood College equestrian club rode at an InterCollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) competition hosted by the College of William and Mary Sunday.

In the Walk/Trot Division, Lizzie Hummel took fifth place while Katie Ensor was also fifth in the Beginning Walk/Trot/Cantor. Hood alum Jennifer Mehalko won the Flat Division and placed fifth in Fences. Caroline West and Emily Bernstein also showed.

Sunday's show was the last IHSA competition of the fall season. The spring season begins on Feb. 17, 2008 when Goucher hosts a show at the Garrison Forest School in Baltimore, Md.
