Equestrian Club Meeting Slated for August 25
FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College Equestrian Team/Club will have
its first meeting of the 2009-10 season on Tuesday, August 25, 2009
at 7:30 p.m. in the Whitaker Common Room on the second floor.
Members of the Team/Club range in experience from beginners who
are interested in learning how to ride, to those individuals with
riding and showing experience. Horse ownership is not required as
members of all levels are welcome to use the horses at North Fork

the opportunity to ride on the Competitive Equestrian Team. The
Team/Club encourages the participation and support of those
individuals who have an interest in riding, fun, and horse-related
activities, even if they are not active rider.
All Team and Club riders pay for their own lessons. Lessons are
available to Hood Club/Team members at a cost of: 5 lessons for
$175.00; 10 lessons for $300.00 or a monthly package for $225.00
for a minimum of three months. (See Karen Fenwick for details)
