FREDERICK, Md.-- The Hood College field hockey team (1-7, 0-3 CAC) lost 6-0 to the
Wesley College Wolverines (6-5, 1-3 CAC) Saturday at Thomas Athletic Field.

The Wolverines' offense outshot the Blazers 19-2. Sophomore Brooke Tadlock scored three goals to lead Wesley to its first conference win of the season, while sophomore Stephanie Johnson chipped in one goal and two assists.

Senior goalie Jen Lacy anchored Hood’s defense with 10 saves, and Crystal Parker added a defensive stop.

Hood returns to action Thursday hosting the University of Mary Washington at 4 p.m.
