FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College field hockey team dropped its Senior Day match to visiting Lebanon Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play, 8-0. 

Before the contest, the Blazers honored Shelby Amspacher and Ashley Griffin for their contributions to the program. 

Inside the Box Score

  • Hailey Poisal made a career-high 26 saves in the contest and went over 400 career saves in the match. 
  • Jayden Barrick had a defensive save. 

How it Happened

  • Megan Arnst had the game's first two scores to give the Dutchmen a 2-0 lead in the 18th minute. She would add two goals in the second half to finish with four for day. 
  • A goal by Rachel Gorman made it 3-0 at halftime. 
  • Brittany Fleisher, Maddie Fox and Isabella Vulopas joined Arnst in goal column in the second half.


  • Hood is 3-12 overall and 0-6 in the MAC Commonwealth.
  • Lebanon Valley moved to 10-6 and 3-3.
