READING, Pa. - The Hood College field hockey team fell 6-0 to Albright in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action. 

Inside the Box Score

  • Jayden Barrick had three defensive saves, the most for a Blazer this season. The senior now has 33 career defensive saves, passing Sara Snyder for second all-time at Hood. 
  • In goal, Hailey Poisal stopped 13 shots in 54 minutes, while Nicole Bennett added three saves over the last 16 minutes of action. 
  • Savannah Branch recorded a defensive save. 

How it Happened

  • Annette Helmandollar scored twice in the first 18 minutes to give the Lions the early lead. 
  • Hood trailed 2-0 at halftime, but four different players scored for Albright in the second half. 

Notes

  • In addition to Helmandollar's multi-goal game, Dennise Greene and Marley Berger each recorded a goal and an assist.
