King College Transfer Adds Depth to Blazer Roster

FREDERICK, Md.--Hood College men's basketball coach Tom Dickman announced the addition of another local product to the 2008-09 roster. Frederick native J'Air Brady has two years of eligibility remaining after transferring to Hood from King College (Tenn.).

Brady, a 6-2, 185-lb., guard, is a 2006 graduate of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School. Last season, Brady and the King College Tornado won the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) tournament championship and advanced to the NAIA Division II tournament. A member of the honor roll at TJ, Brady averaged 19 points, eight rebounds and two assists and was an all-conference selection for the Patriots.

"J'Air brings instant leadership and toughness to our program," said Dickman. "He is an experienced player that I have watched since his middle school days. We are very excited about his decision to attend Hood."

Brady joins guard Garrett Williams of North Carroll High School and forwards Chris Leggett of Century High School and Herb Bowen of Episcopal High School as Dickman's four recruits so far for the upcoming season.
