J'Air Brady Picked as Hood College Athlete of the Week
FREDERICK, Md.--Junior forward J'Air Brady of the men's basketball team has been selected as the Hood College Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
Brady averaged 18.0 points and 4.0 per game in Hood's four games last week in addition to shooting .619 from the floor. The product of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School started all four games for the Blazers, averaging 33.0 minutes per outing.
Brady, who represented Hood on the all-tournament team at the Car Coop/Weenie Miller Memorial Holiday Hoops Tournament hosted by Hampden-Sydney College, also drilled 8-of-15 from three-point range and contributed six steals, four assists and three blocks.
Brady and the Blazers (3-8, 0-2 CAC) resume Capital Athletic Conference play Wednesday at Gallaudet University at 8 p.m.
