Prescott, Alger, Chaney Compete at Franklin & Marshall Invite
LANCASTER, Pa.--The freshman threesome of Aaron Prescott, Andy Alger and Evan Chaney traveled to Lancaster, Pa., Monday for the Franklin & Marshall Invitational at the Bent Creek Country Club.
Prescott was Hood's top finisher with a 10-over-par 81, good for 41st place out of 86 competitors. Alger carded an 87 and Chaney logged an 89 on the par-71, 6,232-yard course.
Keystone's Sean Misstishin carded a one-under 70 and beat out Franklin & Marshall's Randy Boll on the first playoff hole to earn medalist honors. The host Diplomats set a new school record and won the team competition with a 286, outdistancing runner-up Neumann College by 17 strokes.
The Blazers wrap up the fall season Tuesday at the Gettysburg Invitational.
