SALEM, Va.--Sophomore Sofiane Lazar and freshman Kris Miner registered unassisted tallies for the Hood College men's lacrosse team (0-14) in a 31-2 loss to the No. 16 Roanoke College Maroons (7-4) Sunday afternoon in a nonconference contest.

Lazar netted his 12th goal of the season in the second quarter on a Blazer man-advantage opportunity. Miner's fifth score of the spring came in the final minute of the fourth quarter.

Sam Hofmann turned away 13 shots in the net while Nicholas O'Brien made five stops in the losing cause.

The Blazers return to action Friday against Villa Julie College at Thomas Athletic Field at 3:30 p.m.
