FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College men's lacrosse team (0-15, 0-7 CAC) dropped a 30-6 Capital Athletic Conference decision to the No. 10 Villa Julie College Mustangs (10-3, 6-1 CAC) Friday at Thomas Athletic Field.

Sofiane Lazar had a pair of goals while Kris Miner, Mike Matteson, Blake Rust and Dominique Shorter also scored for the Blazers. Sam Hofmann made 15 saves in goal while Vince Shirbach won eight face-offs for Hood.

Kevin Donnelly paced the Mustang attack with seven goals while 15 other Villa Julie players found the back of the net.  

Hood begins CAC tournament action Monday.
