FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College men's lacrosse coach Brad Barber has announced the team's 2014 schedule.

With only two home games in the first nine, the season opens with an away game against Rosemont College on February 23. The Blazers play two more on the road on March 1 and March 8.

The team plays its first game in front of a home crowd on March 11 at 3:30 p.m., when Salve Regina comes to town. After a home game against NCAA Division II member District of Columbia on March 19, the Blazers begin another three-game road trip from March 22 to March 29.

During this trip Hood opens up Commonwealth Conference play against Messiah on March 26, and goes against Widener on the 29th.

On April 2, the Blazers return home for three-game homestand, the longest of the season, with a game against Shenandoah. The conference home-opener is on April 5 against Lycoming, followed by a visit from the defending national champions, Stevenson, on the 9th.
