PERRY, N.Y. - Hood College's Grayson Zubradt was named the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III South Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in wins over Washington & Jefferson and Westminster.
Zubradt, named the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, finished the week with nine goals, two assists and eight ground balls. He scored five goals and recorded one assist in a 15-10 win over Washington & Jefferson. He was one goal short of the school single-game record and is the first Hood player with more than one career five-goal game. In an 18-5 win over Westminster, Zubradt scored four goals, recorded one assist, and added five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
He is the second Blazer to earn a weekly honor from the USILA in program history. Teammate John Hoffman was the Division III South Defensive Player of the Week last season, on March 16.
