Originally from Claremont, N.H., Picerno is in his second season with the Hood lacrosse program.
Picerno was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and lacrosse at Kimball Union Academy. Also a collegiate letterman in lacrosse at Penn State University, Picerno graduated in 2002 with a degree in administration of justice with a minor in history.
During the 2005-06 school year, Picerno served as an assistant lacrosse coach at Quince Orchard High School and took over the reigns as head coach in 2006.
Picerno is working towards a master of arts in human science and
also serves as a police officer for the Montgomery County Police.
