Cabrini Tops Men's Soccer, 2-0

RADNOR, Pa.--The Hood College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 nonconference decision to the Cabrini College Cavaliers Wednesday in its regular season finale.

Hood attemped five shots in the day, four by senior Mars Rabara and one by Corey DeMaster. Cabrini's Bryan Johnson and Colin Hinkelmon split time in goal and combined for the shutout, Cabrini's 12th of the season.

Jason Moran and Matt O'Shaughnessy each scored a goal for the Cavaliers, who registered 20 total shots in the contest. Hood keeper Shawn Fernholz made seven saves for the Blazers in defeat.

Hood has qualified for the Capital Athletic Conference tournament as the No. 8 seed and will take on top-seeded Salisbury University Saturday in Salisbury, Md., in a first-round game.
