Smith was named to the first team, while Salgado earned second team honors.
Smith, a junior, earns his second career All-MAC Commonwealth accolade. He ranks second in the league in goals (11) and points (27) while ranking fourth in assists (5). Smith is 23rd in Division III, scoring 2.08 points per game. He set a school record by scoring in eight straight matches. During that streak, he had a hat trick and an assist in a match against Juniata and scored two of the Blazers' three goals in a win over Cairn. He finished the year fourth all-time at Hood with 64 points and third with 28 goals. His 11 goals are the fifth-best season tally for a Blazer and his 28 points tied for fifth.
Salgado set Hood's freshman record for assists with seven and ranked fourth in the MAC Commonwealth in total assists. He had a goal and an assist against both Juniata and St. Vincent. In conference action, he scored a goal against Alvernia and had assists versus Widener and Arcadia. Salgado recorded assists in his first three career matches: Washington, Randolph and Cairn.
