NORFOLK, Va. - The Hood College men's and women's swim teams were named College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Teams, the CSCAA announced.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher over the fall semester.
Both Blazer squads posted the second-highest GPAs in the Middle Atlantic Conference. The Hood women posted a 3.46, while the men checked in at 3.14.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership of the advancement of the sports of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
