FREDERICKSBURG, Va.--The No. 11 University of Mary Washington Eagles (18-5) topped the Hood College men's tennis team (2-10) by a score of 9-0 Sunday in the first round of the 2008 Capital Athletic Conference tournament.

David Blowe won six game against Zach McGonigal at third singles while the first doubles tandem of Mike Hardman and Abou Camara won three points against Eric Sundstrom and Rob Emig.

The Blazers end the 2007-08 campaign with an overall record of 2-10 and an 0-6 record in its second season of Capital Athletic Conference action.
