Men's track and field competes at Widener

CHESTER, Pa. - The Hood College men's track and field team took part in the Widener University Invitational. 

Highlights

  • Fred Roberts moved into second all-time in the pole vault at Hood, clearing 4.00 meters (13-1 1/2), which qualified him for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships in May. He finished 12th. 
  • Hunter Klein had a personal best when he threw the discus 33.66m (110-5) to place 16th.
  • AJ Lewis had the Blazers' best finish of the day, taking 10th in the long jump (6.21m; 20-4 1/2).

Notes

  • The Blazers finished tied for 27th in the team scoring. 
  • Rowan won the meet with 108 points.
