WAYNESBURG, Pa.--The Hood College men's cross country team finished 36th of 43 squads at the 2008 NCAA Mideast Regional hosted by Waynesburg University.

William Andrews was Hood's top finisher in 28:47 to place 166th of 306 competitors. Nick Manning completed the course in 30:04 while Brendan Greenlees ran third for the Blazers in 30:42. Blair Ames (31.04) and Mattia Mabellini (31:37) rounded out the Hood scorers. David McDuffie (33:46) and Ola Komolafe (34:21) also competed for the Blazers.

Carnegie Mellon University won the regional with 37 points and boasted the top finisher in Brian Harvey (25:10).
