YORK, Pa.--The Hood College women's lacrosse team (4-5, 1-4 CAC) dropped a 17-2 decision to the York College (Pa.) Spartans (4-7, 1-3 CAC) Saturday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference game.

Brandy Noel tallied her 15th goal of the season midway through the first half while Kelsey Blackwell notched her team-leading 23rd score of the spring to start the second half for Hood.

Megan Bell and Molly Kerrigan combined for nine goals on the day for the Spartans, who outshot the Blazers 40-9. Sam Liptrap stopped 14 shots in the net for Hood.

Hood next travels to Wilson College Tuesday for a nonleague game at 4 p.m.
