Marymount Tops Women's Lax, 20-1

ARLINGTON, Va.--Junior Brandy Noel scored her 22nd goal of the season with 1:31 left in the first half for the Hood College women's lacrosse team (6-6, 1-5 CAC) in a 20-1 Capital Athletic Conference loss to Marymount University (5-5, 2-3 CAC) Saturday afternoon at Washington & Lee High School.

Kelsey Blackwell was credited with her team-leading 16th assist on the score. Sam Liptrap turned away nine Saint shots in the net.

Springanne Hatfield scored six times for Marymount while Lindsay Quinn had five goals and an assist for six points.

Hood returns to action Monday hosting Shenandoah University at 4 p.m. in a nonconference game. Hood will honor senior Britney Colandreo before the contest.
