Women's Lacrosse Stopped on Senior Day

FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's lacrosse dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match on Senior Day to Lebanon Valley 16-2. 

Before the game, the Blazers recognized seniors Allie Appleby, Shay Braithwaite and Christina Murphy for their contributions to the program.

How it Happened

  • The Dutchmen scored five goals in the opening nine minutes, including three by Makenzie Kelley to take command of the game. 
  • Slater put Hood on the board with 20:38 left in the half to make it 5-1. 
  • After two more goals by LVC, Locklear made it 7-2 with 7:19 to go in the half. 
  • Lebanon Valley added one more before halftime to make it 8-2 at the break. 


  • Kelley had six goals and two assists for the Dutchmen, while Emma Jones added three goals and four assists. Hannah Oliveras made four saves.
