Hood Wraps Up Regular Season at Mary Washington

FREDERICKSBURG, Va.--The Hood College women's swim team wrapped up the regular season with a double-dual Friday against the University of Mary Washington and Randolph-Macon College.

Ashley Garyn finished eighth in the 1000 free (12:22.59) and sixth in the 100 free (1:00.64).

Melissa Masino placed 10th in the 1000 free (14:19.78) and ninth in the 500 free (6:49.44).

Erica Hamor took seventh in the 200 free (2:09.30) and fifth in the 100 breast (1:17.15).

Michelle Leggieri came in seventh in the 50 free (27.57) and sixth in the 100 back (1:09.73).

Kara Cruice took eighth in the 50 free (30.02) and the 100 fly (1:12.61) and ninth in the 100 breast (1:23.12).

Kristen Kucharski finished 10th in the 200 IM (2:40.58) and seventh in the 100 fly (1:12.30).

The Blazers have two weeks to train for the CAC championships hosted by St. Mary's College (Md.) Feb. 13-15.
