Women's Tennis Knocks Off Notre Dame, 5-3

FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College women's tennis team (3-3) won a pair of doubles matches and captured three singles matches en route to a 5-3 nonconference victory over the College of Notre Dame Saturday at the Baker Park Tennis Courts.
Christine Ocampos-Barry and Larisa Buriak defeated Miku White and Meryl Krich, 8-2, at first doubles while Morgan Wright and Laura Wanner downed Maddy Foster and Paige Seibert, 8-2, at third doubles.
In singles action, Ocampos-Barry outlasted White at the No. 1 spot, 3-6, 6-4, 10-6. Wright and Wanner earned straight set victories at fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
The Blazers' next match is slated for Wednesday at Wesley College at 3:30 p.m.
