FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College volleyball team dropped a hard-fought 3-1 (30-24, 27-30, 30-24, 30-24) decision to visiting College of Notre Dame (Md.) in Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference action Tuesday evening at Gambrill Gymnasium.

Lindsey Nagy led the Blazers (1-9, 1-4 AWCC) with 15 kills, 31 digs and four service aces. Ashley Bryan added seven kills and three digs.

Caroline Woodhams led Hood with 19 assists to go along with nine digs. Leah Garland (20), Jamie Bussey (17) and Jamie Gardner (14) all reached double digits in digs.

Hood is back in action Saturday, October 7 when it hosts a tri-match with Shenandoah University and Chestnut Hill College starting at 11 a.m.
