STEVENSON, Md.--The Hood College volleyball team (0-10, 0-4 CAC) suffered a 3-0 defeat (25-4, 25-11, 25-9) at the hands of the Stevenson University Mustangs (17-2, 2-1 CAC) in Capital Athletic Conference action Thursday evening.

Katie Worthington put down three kills on six attempts for a .500 hitting percentage. Leah Garland set up six kills and registered three of her own to go along with four digs. Ashley Burns amassed 12 digs and Kristina Straub finished with six digs, four assists and two kills.

Hood returns to Gambrill Gymnasium Saturday hosting Trinity University (D.C.) and Goucher College in a trimatch beginning at 10 a.m.
