Hood Hosts SPURS 5K Run/Walk on April 7

FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College Athletics peer mentoring group SPURS (Students Providing Understanding and Resources) will host its first annual 5K Run/Walk Sunday, April 7 on Hood's campus.
The SPURS 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9 a.m. and is open to the public. The start line will be located at the turf field and the course will encircle Hood's campus, covering both grass and hard surfaces, and ends at the Pergola. Click here for a course map.
Registration is $15 if postmarked by March 22 ($20 after this date and on race day). A t-shirt and race packet are guaranteed for all pre-registered runners/walkers. Click the link at the top of this page to download a PDF of the pre-registration form.
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female runners as well as the top two male and female finishers in various age groups.
