FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College field hockey team fell to the Neumann Knights by a score of 4-1.

How it Happened

  • The Knights opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Dominique Patterson sent a pass by the keeper to Alexis Damask who finished on an open cage.
  • Hood answered back in the 30th minute when Mori buried a penalty shot to tie the game 1-1.
  • Neumann took the lead in the 64th minute with a tap in goal by Bri Lagroteria off of a pass by Aalyssa Moyer.
  • In the 65th minute, Cheyenne Sovae finished a pass from Lagroteria to extend the Knights lead.
  • Another goal by the Knights just a minute later put the game out of reach as Colleen Hoy found Erica D'Mello on the back post to make the score 4-1.


  • Hood fell to 2-7 on the season.
  • Neumann improved to 1-5.
  • Lizzie Yu made five saves for the Knights.
