Field hockey drops conference game to Knights

FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College field hockey team fell 8-0 to visiting Arcadia in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

How it Happened

  • The Knights scored what proved to be the game-winner in the seventh minute when Gabby Sedares found the back of the cage. 
  • Carly Flickinger scored back-to-back goals before a marker by Lindsay Bechtold made it 4-0 at halftime. 
  • Lauren Dougherty scored the opening two goals of the second half as Arcadia pulled away. 


  • Dougherty finished with two goals and an assist, while Isabelle Houser picked up a pair of assists.
