Field hockey takes Wilson to double overtime

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A goal just over a minute into the second overtime broke a scoreless tie and gave Wilson a 1-0 win over the Hood College field hockey team.

How it Happened

  • Breeann Sheaffer found Allison Reber for the game-winner at the start of the 82nd minute, just 1:03 into the second overtime period. 
  • The Blazers had their best chance in the 44th minute of the defensive struggle, but a shot by Jayden Barrick went wide. Hood also had a pair of penalty corners during the second half.
