FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College field hockey team dropped its Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opener by a final score of 7-0.

How it Happened
- Kelsi Walker had her hand in a pair of goals in the first eight minutes as the Pride jumped out to the early lead. She scored in the sixth minute before assisting on a tally by Madi Radnoff two minutes later.
- Walker and Erin Callahan scored in the second quarter as Widener doubled the lead before halftime.
- Liz Mercado scored two of the Pride's three second half goals.
