FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College field hockey team fell 3-0 to visiting Wilson College.

  • Kenzie Blair made six saves in a 30-minute stint at goalkeeper. Nicole Bennett recorded five saves in the second half of the game.
  • Hood's best scoring opportunity came in the 52nd minute when Julia Cencetti's shot was forced wide due to Wilson's strong defense.

  • Wilson's Alexis Alleman scored in the 7th minute to give the Phoenix an early lead.
  • Michaela Singer's goal from Breeann Sheaffer added a cushin for Wilson midway through the second quarter.
  • With an assist from Alexis Pflumm, Abigail Rosenberry capped off the scoring in the 48th minute.
