YORK, Pa. - Hood College's Max Riedel took third place in the 1,650-yard freestyle to earn All-Middle Atlantic Conference on the final day of the MAC Championships at the Graham Aquatics Center.
How it Happened
- Riedel, who placed third for the second straight year, swam a career-best 16:29.61.
- Matthew Ball finished seventh in the championship final of the 200-yard butterfly in 2:02.70. He swam a 2:01.86 in the preliminaries earlier in the day.
- The 400 freestyle relay of John Foley, Ball, Brooks Anderson and Riedel captured ninth place with its time of 3:26.82.
Notes
- Hood's 169 points were eighth in the final standings, ahead of Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham, Lebanon Valley and Stevenson.
- Albright scored 740 points for a nearly 200-point margin of victory over second-place Widener.
