Hood College

Jahlin Jean-Baptiste of the baseball team and Molly Cronin from women's swimming are the Hood College Athletes of Week for the period ending April 19. 

Jean-Baptiste pitched a complete game shutout, the first of his career, earning the win in the first game against Lebanon Valley. He gave up only three hits, walking one and striking out four. 

Cronin had the three of Hood's highest placements at the Middle Atlantic Conference Virtual Championships. She claimed 15th place in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:24.21. Her time of 2:24.68 in the 200-yard individual medley was a season-best and placed 16th. In the 100-yard backstroke, Cronin took 17th with finish in 1:06.72. She also swam on four relays.
