Title IX and Other Resources

Hood College strives for excellence in programming for all student-scholar athletes. As an institution that looks to foster community as one its core values, we also encourage teamwork, civility, respect for self and others, sportsmanship and fair play as core values in competitive and non-competitive sports. In addition, we embrace the principles of gender equity, responsibility, scholarship and leadership and seek opportunities to help students realize academic, personal and professional success. Regardless of the skills or abilities of individual athletes, we aspire to the highest standard of excellence and take pride in the growth and contributions of student athletes both in and out of the classroom. The Athletic Department supports the mission of the College and provides every possible opportunity for students to become responsible and global citizens.
