We are no longer offering a member discount for lessons. If you are a Hood Faculty or Staff member--please use your Hood email address when registering your swimmers.

Level Descriptions 


What do I need to know for the first day of lessons?

  • Arrive about 10 minutes early so you are not rushed to get ready.  

  • All Levels will meet on the pool deck of the Huntsinger Aquatic Center. 

  • All you need to bring is a towel, a swimsuit, and your swimmer.

  • The lesson will last for 30 minutes.

  • Instructors will call out the lesson level and have an attendance sheet for classes.

  • It is very important that the instructors have the undivided attention of your swimmer.  To help with this we ask that during the lessons you stay away from the edge of the pool deck and limit communication with your swimmer.
