Hood College

Thomas Kasanicky and Karina Turner, both of the cross country program, are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for September 6, 2021 after their performances at the Blazer Twilight Meet

Kasanicky won the 5,000-meter race at Othello Regional Park with a time of 19:02.3 in his first collegiate race. His efforts helped lead Hood to the team championship at the event.

Turner was second in the women's racing, completing the 5k course in 23:19.4. The Blazer women were also the team champions.
