Men's basketball's Mason Wang and Morgan Anderson from the women's basketball team are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for January 10.Â
Wang averaged 30 points on 59 percent (23-for-39) shooting from the floor and 47 percent (8-for-17) from 3-point range. In an 89-83 win over Lebanon Valley, the senior scored 27 points on 11-for-18 shooting while adding three assists and three steals. In a setback to Eastern, Wang led all scorers with 33 points on 12-for-21 shooting to go with six rebounds, six assists and two steals. He also sits 15 points from the school's career scoring mark
Anderson helped the Blazers to a 1-1 week, including a win over LVC. She finished with 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting and eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals in the 49-46 win over the Dutchmen. At York, she grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds. The senior added a season- high six blocks and four assists. Â
