Clay Smith of the men's soccer team and Jess Leaver of the women's soccer team are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for September 9, 2019. 

Leaver contributed at both ends of the pitch in the Blazers' shutout victory at Marymount (Va.). She scored a goal and anchored the backline in the win.
