Danny Castillo and Melissa Merritt are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for September 2. 

Merritt scored a natural hat trick in a 6-0 win over Washington Adventist. Merritt scored the first hat trick for the Blazers since Alyssa Nubgaard in 2015. The junior scored all three goals in the second half, including a penalty kick in the 65th minute of play.
