Nate Luscombe of baseball and Megan Carter of women’s tennis have been named Hood College’s Athletes of the Week for April 15, 2019.

In the series sweep of Arcadia over the weekend, Luscombe pitched a four-hit shutout in game one on Saturday. He struck out two and walked one, needing just 76 pitches to complete seven innings.

Carter and her partner Skylar Wright won matches at the top two singles flights but Lebanon Valley defeated the Blazers 7-2 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play. She won at first singles in straight sets against Melanie Haas 6-3, 6-4.
