Hood College

Grayson Zubradt of men’s lacrosse and Jenna Frick of women’s golf have been named Hood College’s Athletes of the Week for April 1, 2019.

Zubradt scored five goals to reach 50 points for the third straight season. He converted an over-the-shoulder shot with 4:56 to go to pull Hood within a goal against Arcadia. Later, he rolled behind net, reversed and finished to tie the game with 1:34 to go, fighting off heavy contact the entire time for the win.

Jenna Frick shot a 94 to win by 21 strokes on the par-71 course as women’s golf opened their spring season with a 483-608 win over Johnson & Wales Denver in a dual match at Augustine Golf Club. The round was two shots off of her own school record.
