Hood College

Mason Wang of men's basketball and Lauren Crossey of women's track and field have been named Hood College's Athletes of the Week for February 11, 2019. 

The Hood College men's basketball team came out on the short end of a 107-100 final at Lycoming on Saturday in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play. Mason Wang had 29 points to lead the Blazers. The sophomore went 9 of 10 at the free throw line and had three steals. 

The Hood College women's indoor track and field team competed in its final tune-up before the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships later this month with a trip to the Larry Sharpe Invitational at Hagerstown Community College. Lauren Crossey won the 1,000-yard run with a time of 3:44.50. She added a top-five finish in the 500-meter, as well (1:37.39).
