Mason Wang of the men’s basketball team was named the Hood College Athletes of the Week for November 11, 2019.

Wang was named the MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Blazers to the championship of the MMI Tip Off Tournament. He was named the tournament MVP after leading his team to a pair of wins over Southern Virginia and Lynchburg. He finished the week with 58 points.
