Raphaella Henson-Vendrell from women’s cross country and Zach Crossey from men’s cross country have been named Hood College’s Athletes of the Week for September 4, 2018.

Both the men and women's cross country teams competed in the Mustang Stampede Cross Country Meet to open up the 2018-19 season. Raphaella Henson-Vendrell placed fourth for Hood with a time of 16:39.71.

Zach Crossey placed ninth to lead the Blazers in their season-opening meet. He finished the 4,000-meter course with a time of 13:38.20.
