STEVENSON, Md.--The Hood College men's tennis team (3-9, 1-1 CAC) dropped a 6-3 decision to the Stevenson University Mustangs (1-1, 1-1 CAC) Friday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference match.

David Blowe and Mike Hardman toppled their opponents in straight sets at first and third singles, respectively. Blowe defeated Ryan Morse, 6-0, 6-3, while Hardman got past Korey Garner, 6-1, 6-0. Hardman and Carter Reitman rolled to an 8-1 victory at first doubles over Morse and Kevin Stamm, 8-1.

Hood returns to action Monday hosting McDaniel College at 3 p.m. at the Baker Park Tennis Courts.
