FREDERICKSBURG, Va.--The Hood College men's swim team traveled
to the University of Mary Washington Friday for a double-dual with
the Eagles and the York College (Pa.) Spartans.
The 200 medley relay team of Andrew Bodine, Tom Riley, Matthew
Benoit and Robbie Ennis finished third in 1:49:02. Hood also
fielded two 200 free relay squads; Carlin Rabie, Ethan Weidman,
Lucas Netter and Connor Eliff took second in 1:41.34 while James
Baker, Kyle Atras, Chris Patschak and Drake Halpern touched wall
fourth in 1:55.63.
Individually, Netter captured fifth in the 1000 free (12:14.25),
sixth in the 100 free (57.18) and third in the 500 free
(5:59.43).
Benoit placed fourth in the 200 free (2:05.43), fourth in the 50
free (24.46) and fifth in the 100 free (54.62).
Eliff came in fifth in the 200 free (2:06.90), fifth in the 200
fly (2:28.47) and fourth in the 100 fly (1:02.32).
Weidman clocked a time of 1:08.36 in the 100 back (fifth) and
2:33.09 in the 200 back (sixth).
Rabie touched the wall sixth in the 100 back (1:10.30) and
finished fifth in the 50 free (24.93).
Ennis was fourth in the 100 breast (1:06.89), fourth in the 200
breast (2:31.80) and fourth in the 400 IM (5:15.48).
Riley finished sixth in the 100 breast (1:07.46), fifth in the
200 breast (2:33.00) and fourth in the 400 IM (5:07.88).
Bodine claimed fourth in the 200 fly (2:21.46), fifth in the 200
back (2:24.35) and third in 100 fly 59.80.
Atras took fourth in the 500 free (7:11.98).
Hood continues CAC action Saturday, Nov. 13, at Marymount
University at 2 p.m.
