SALISBURY, Md.--Junior Mike Hardman of the Hood College men's
tennis team (2-4, 0-2 CAC) ousted Giorgio Athans of No. 21
Salisbury University (9-4, 3-0 CAC) in straight sets at the top
singles position in an 8-1 setback to the Sea Gulls Sunday.
Hardman improved to 5-1 in singles on the season with a 6-1, 7-5
victory over Athans, who falls to 5-8.
The Sea Gulls picked up straight set victories at the other five
singles spots and swept all three doubles matches to stay
undefeated in CAC play.
Hood's next match is against Shepherd University on April 5 at
the Baker Park Tennis Courts.
